Mall Location versus a Stand Alone Location

Just a quick comparison on having a Mall site versus a Stand Alone Location :
 
 
Malls will have always the numbers needed to have good profits, however, the negative sentiment of the general public going into a mall may take awhile because of the fear of the virus. Going to the mall has also new norms such as quarantine tests which delays entrances, limits the number of people on elevators, restaurants, time to park cars, to name a few. Things will take sometime to get back to normal and for some, they may just avoid going to the mall due to the risk involved and their sad experience during this Pandemic.
 
Stand Alone will now be a good option to locate business operation as the general public will still avoid crowded areas. Operation in a Stand Alone site gives more access for the general public, take out and deliveries are easier, quarantine level is easier to control. During lockdown, this also makes it more feasible for businesses to target their particular location.
 
For businesses that primarily had their Business Model dependent on mall volume, it's time to reassess the future because as a business owner, you have to anticipate the unknown. This Pandemic has really affected everyone in one way or another.
